ImTeCHO is an initiative of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat and is being implemented within existing primary health care system and centered on front line health workers.

SEWA Rural, a voluntary service organization is providing medical and health care services to the rural, poor and tribal population of Bharuch, Narmada and surrounding districts since 1980. SEWA Rural and the Department of Health and Family Welfare piloted the ImTeCHO project since 2013.

The ImTeCHO mobile phone application is powered by ArguSoft India Ltd's mAID platform. SEWA Rural and Argusoft India Ltd, Gandhinagar has collaboratively developed ImTeCHO mobile phone application.

Argusoft India Ltd, has developed the ImTECHO mobile application along with the active participation and partnership of SEWA Rural.

UNICEF has been working closely with the Government of India for the last 70 years, helping children realize their dreams and give them best start in life. UNICEF, Gujarat is providing technical assistance for scale up and expand the scope of the application.

GVK EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute) is a pioneer in Emergency Management Services in India. GVK EMRI call center will send reminders and verifications to beneficiaries under the ImTeCHO project to ensure full coverage of health services.

The initial pilot and evaluation of the ImTeCHO project was funded by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat, Jamsetji Tata Trust, Indian Council of Medical Research, World Health Organization and Anupam Rasayan India Ltd.
